I’ve always known I wanted to build something of my own. Not just a side hobby, but a brand that proves the people who underestimate me wrong — quietly, through the work I put out into the world.
Jewelry was always my soft spot, but I never fit into the usual boxes. Fine jewelry felt too precious and too expensive for my actual life, and the pieces I could afford usually tarnished fast, irritated my skin, or looked like everyone else’s. I hated that feeling of having to choose between “looks rich but I can’t really wear it” and “cheap enough but won’t last.”
Pretty Shimmering Things started as my answer to that problem. I wanted demi-fine pieces that look luxe, feel unique, and can handle everything I do in a day — work, chores, rain, sweat, last-minute plans — without losing their shine. That’s why I obsess over thicker plating, better base metals, and designs that feel like a quiet statement instead of loud trends.
Today, my brand exists for women like me: women who are often underestimated, who do a million things in a day, and still want their jewelry to say who they are without them having to explain it. Pretty Shimmering Things is my way of saying, “You don’t have to choose between quality, price, and personality. You get to have all three.
